This relatively new bait has been very sucessfull for cod of the north east.
Its basically edible crab meat, put into a sausage style skin. This skin breaks down slowly in the water, allowing the crab meat to break up into the water.
In lengths that can be cut down into 2/3 baits, they are put onto the hook, then tied with bait elastic.
